Chrome Capital Limited t/a Chrome Capital, Discount Insurance and Mortgage Approval
offers a range of products and services including life assurance policies, specified illness and other protection type policies, pension policies, savings and investment policies, and mortgage products.

The services which the firm is authorised to provide are:
a. Advising you in relation to the nature of each of the products set out above and advising you as to which product is suitable for your needs. b. Receiving and transmitting orders on your behalf for these products.

Appointments

Chrome Capital Limited t/a Chrome Capital, Discount Insurance and Mortgage Approval
holds a written appointment to act as a tied insurance agent for Irish Life Assurance plc. (Irish Life)

Through our partnership with Irish Life we offer life assurance plans (including life assurance, specified illness cover, income protection, unit linked savings, investments and pension plans), tracker bonds, and Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRSAs).

also holds a written appointment to act as a mortgage intermediary, and the mortgage intermediary service is limited to the following mortgage lenders: Irish Life & Permanent plc, ICS Building Society, KBC Bank Ireland plc, Colaba Ltd and Haven Mortgages Ltd.

Remuneration Policy

The Company may receive commission and other payments from Irish Life Assurance Plc and Mortgage Lenders when orders are transmitted. Summary details of Life Assurance commission will be included in a product information document, under the Customer Information Notice section, which you are legally entitled to receive before an application for a product is completed, and full details will be included in your cooling off letter and welcome pack. Any ongoing commission shown in the Customer Information Notice will be paid to me as long as I continue to be your Financial Adviser.

is entitled to receive between 0.5% and 1% of mortgage amount from mortgage lenders in respect of commission for placing the business with the lender. Chrome Capital Limited t/a Chrome Capital, Discount Insurance and Mortgage Approval may charge application fees on all mortgage applications of up to €750. If you require further details of this commission we will be happy to answer any of your questions.

Personal Information

So that we can provide you with business services, you will have to give personal information including your name, address, date of birth, and details about your financial arrangements such as your existing protection cover, pension arrangements, and your savings and investments. From time to time you may also need to give sensitive personal information such as medical details. All the personal information you give me will be processed in line with your rights under the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2003. This information will only be used to provide you with business services, to meet any legal and regulatory obligations, and for legitimate business reasons. For these purposes personal information may have to be given to third parties and to contractors where necessary, to regulatory authorities that need the information by law, to other companies and service providers with whom we have a data processing contract and to any person your plan is transferred to. From time to time, Information about other financial products and services may be sent to you. You have the right to ask us not to send you this marketing material and, at any time you can ‘opt out’ of receiving marketing material. You have a right to see the information that is held on you and you can do this by writing to me at the address below. A charge of up to €6.35 may be required before we send you the information.

Conflict of Interest

It is the policy of Chrome Capital Limited t/a Chrome Capital, Discount Insurance and Mortgage Approval to avoid any conflict of interest when providing business services to clients. However, where an unavoidable conflict arises we will advise you of this in writing before providing any business service. If you have not been advised of any such conflict you may assume that none arises.

Complaints Procedure

Any complaint that you may have in relation to the business services provided should be made in writing to Chrome Capital Limited t/a Chrome Capital, Discount Insurance and Mortgage Approval
outlining the nature of your complaint. All complaints will be acknowledged in writing within 5 business days of the complaint being received. The complaint will be fully investigated and we will aim to provide the complainant with a regular written update on the progress of the investigation at intervals of not greater than 20 business days.

A full response will be provided within 5 business days of completing the investigation.

In the event that you remain dissatisfied with the firm’s handling of and response to your complaint you are entitled to refer to the Financial Services Ombudsman’s Bureau or the Pensions Ombudsman.

Consumer Protection

Chrome Capital Limited t/a Chrome Capital, Discount Insurance and Mortgage Approval is a member of the Investor Compensation Scheme established under the Investment Compensation Act of 1998, which provides for the establishment of compensation in certain circumstances, to certain clients, where money or investment instruments owed or belonging to clients and held, or in the case of investments, administered or managed by the firm, cannot be returned to those clients for the time being and there is no reasonable foreseeable opportunity do so.

Where an entitlement to compensation is established, the compensation payable will be the lesser of 90% of the amount of the client’s loss as recognised for the purposes of the Investor Compensation Act, 1998 or compensation of up to €20,000.

Credit Policy

Chrome Capital Limited t/a Chrome Capital, Discount Insurance and Mortgage Approval will, if necessary, exercise its legal rights to receive any payments due to it, from clients for business services provided by it and to be reimbursed for any value obtained by it for clients arising from payments to i
